Well, the developer had stuff come up in life and as the main citra code based changed, the Geometry Shaders code stopped working. With Geometry shaders merged into citra, things go a little slower (because citra has to do more stuff each frame) but it fixed many such issues in several games. This code added support for Geometry Shaders. A long time ago, a programmer wrote a huge code change to support the graphics effects that many games such as FE Awakening use. before you say "but i saw a video on youtube where it doesn't have that problem" lemme just say we know.
